Buck Brannaman is one of the most respected horsemen of our day.
This saddle is endorsed by Buck and meets his specifications. It fits a large variety of horses, as Buck rides many different horses during the year in his many clinics. It has a traditional Tom Dorrance style Wade tree made by Kent Frecker.
Some modifications have been made in the bar widths to fit the modern horse. The horn size, style, and pitch, as well as the cantle height and size are all Buck’s personal preferences. It has a 5″ finished 3/4″ Guadalajara style horn, a 4″ round cantle, stainless steel flat plate rigging, Cheyenne rolls, and 5″ stainless steel stirrups with heel blocks. It is available in a wider gullet to fit quarterhorse type backs or narrower for thoroughbred type. Seat length can be anywhere from 14-16½” and stirrup length we will match to fit your inseam. The whole saddle weighs approximately 40-45 pounds.
“Kent Frecker is one of the finest craftsmen of his generation. I’ve rode many saddles over the years and Kent’s work is second to none. Plus he is honest and dependable! You can’t beat that.”
